Horse Riding in Jamao al Norte

At 9 am, pick-up will be from your hotel or Calle Sánchez. You will board a minibus to a nature spot on the outskirts of the city, from which the horse riding activity will commence around Jamao al Norte.

You will receive helmets and a brief introduction to horse riding. The ride will start along the Yasica River, allowing you to observe the area's endemic vegetation. After 20 minutes of riding, there will be a stop at a crystal clear water pool to taste locally made cheese and rodao, a type of biscuit.

Afterward, the ride continues for 2 hours into the Dominican Republic's forests, with the possibility of seeing hummingbirds, woodpeckers, and nightingales. Around 12 noon, a stop will be made at a riverside community for lunch, which includes rice, beans, chicken, salad, and drinks.

After lunch, you can either continue with the horse riding or enjoy some free time for a refreshing dip. The return to the pick-up point in Jamao al Norte will be at 2 pm.
