Yasica River Kayak Tour

At 9 am we'll meet either on Calle Sánchez or at your hotel in Jamao al Norte to begin our kayaking adventure in the Yasica River.

During our journey, we will stop at the community of Nuestra Señora del Carmen to learn about local customs and the making of Dominican rodaos (a type of biscuit).

Afterwards, we will reach the banks of the Yasica River. Once arrived, we will row downstream to explore hidden treasures.

We will see centuries-old trees, sandbanks, and crystal-clear water pools. Halfway through the tour, there will be a snack of locally produced cheese and a tasty rodao. After this break, we will continue kayaking through the twists and turns of the Yasica River.

At 12:30 pm, we will return to the local community for a traditional Dominican lunch of beans and rice. After lunch, we will begin our return journey to Jamao al Norte, arriving around 2 pm.
