Snorkelling in the Prata & Olho d'Água Rivers
At the agreed time, we will meet on the BR-267 road at a tourist estancia near the Prata river. We will equip ourselves with wetsuits and progress through the riverside forest to the source of the Olho d'Água river, where we will use snorkels and goggles to explore the natural pool.
The clarity of the river's waters, due to high limestone concentrations, will be notable as we swim downstream, allowing us to appreciate the aquatic flora and fauna. The route spans 1.7 kilometers (1 mile), leading us to the confluence of the Prata and Olho d'Água rivers, where we will observe changes in water temperature, visibility, and ecosystems.
After four hours of activity, we will conclude our experience at the starting point.
