Snorkelling in the Prata & Olho d'Água Rivers

We will meet on the BR-267 road at a tourist estancia next to the Prata river to initiate the tour. Participants will be equipped with wetsuits and will proceed through the riverside forest to the source of the Olho d'Água river where snorkelling will commence.

The river’s crystal clear waters offer high transparency, attributed to limestone concentration and sunlight reflection. Guides will provide insights while swimming downstream, allowing for the observation of aquatic flora and fauna.

The snorkeling route is 1.7 kilometres (1 mile) long, leading to the confluence of the Prata and Olho d'Água rivers. Participants will notice an immediate change in water temperature, visibility, and ecosystems.

After four hours of activity, the tour concludes at the starting point.
