If you want to get started in the world of scuba diving, this diving initiation in Jávea is ideal for you. You'll experience the extraordinary feeling of breathing underwater!

Diving Initiation in Jávea

We'll meet at the dive centre located on the Arenal Beach - Canal de la Fontana. There you'll have an introductory talk about basic concepts for how to communicate underwater. You'll learn 'finning' and how the diving equipment works.

Next, you will receive the wetsuit, booties, fins, and all the necessary diving equipment. After getting equipped, we will walk to the boat and sail to the selected dive site. Upon arrival, we'll anchor the boat and jump into the water.

This first dive experience lasts approximately 30 to 45 minutes, with a maximum depth of 6 metres (19 feet) while exploring the seabed of Jávea.

After the dive, we will return to the dive centre, concluding this diving baptism after an experience that will last between 2 and 3 hours.

Important

After the activity, you must wait at least 24 hours before boarding a plane or going to high-altitude areas.

Diving spots

Depending on the weather and sea conditions, we'll dive in one of the following sites in the Mediterranean: Cala Blanca, Cala Sardinera, Cala Prim, Portixol Island or marine reserve.
