Join us for a captivating stroll through the port of Xàbia, unraveling the hidden mysteries of this charming city. Throughout the route, we'll delve into the history and highlight iconic places in the port, from its historical beginnings to the vibrant present of the 20th century.

Description

At the agreed-upon time, we'll meet at Xàbia Posit to begin our journey, encompassing visits to the highlights of Xàbia and its port.

We'll start at the Xàbia Yacht Club, exploring the history of the Xàbia port and its role in the export of raisins in the 20th century, along with a discussion of various local wines and the "Riu Rau."

Next, we'll stop at the Fishermen's Guild to analyze the distinctive fishing methods in Xàbia, known for its unique and perilous techniques.

We'll then pass by the Our Lady of Loreto Parish to examine the avant-garde architecture of the 20th century before visiting the Joaquín Sorolla Sculpture and discussing Joaquín Sorolla's ties to Xàbia and his contribution to Impressionism.

Our next stop will be the Casa del Cable, significant for its role in the 19th century, as it housed the first cable connecting the Balearic Islands to the Peninsula. We will then explore Triana Bridge, uncovering the origin of its neighborhood name "Aduanas del Mar."

Finally, we'll visit Platja del Primer Muntanyar, one of the best spots for sunsets in Xàbia, discussing iconic locations such as Cabo de la Nau, Baños de la Reina, and the First Montañar. The tour will conclude after an hour and a half.
