La Quemada + Jerez Tour

Pickup will be at 9:45 am at your hotel in Zacatecas, followed by a drive to the south of the city.

The first stop is the archaeological site of La Quemada, a significant pre-Hispanic site from 300 to 1200 A.D. The tour begins at the museum of this ancient settlement, providing insights into pre-Columbian culture in Mexico.

Next, we will visit the votive pyramid of La Quemada, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Malpaso Valley.

Following the archaeological site, we will head to the Pueblo Mágico de Jerez, birthplace of poet Ramón López Velarde. This guided tour will cover the main monuments of the historic centre.

Highlights include the Hinojosa Theatre, the sanctuary of La Soledad, and the parish church of the Immaculate Conception, along with the House-Museum of López Velarde and the Rafael Páez garden.
