Pickup will be at 9:45 am at your hotel in Zacatecas, followed by a drive south to the archaeological site of La Quemada, a significant site dating between 300 and 1200 A.D. The tour begins at the museum where you will learn about pre-Columbian culture in Mexico.

Next, you'll explore the votive pyramid of La Quemada, enjoying panoramic views of the Malpaso Valley.

After La Quemada, the tour proceeds to the Pueblo Mágico de Jerez, the birthplace of poet Ramón López Velarde. A guided tour will cover the main monuments of the historic centre, including the Hinojosa Theatre, sanctuary of La Soledad, and the parish church of the Immaculate Conception. You will also visit the House-Museum of López Velarde and the Rafael Páez garden.

After exploring the old town, you will have an hour for lunch before returning to your hotel in Zacatecas by 4:45 pm.
