Teúl Excursion
At 8 am, pickup will be from your hotel in Zacatecas. The journey begins southward, with stops at scenic locations.
The first stop is the Tlaltenango Canyon to enjoy the landscapes of southern Zacatecas. We'll then visit the towns of Tepetongo and Tlaltenango de Sánchez Román.
The excursion continues to El Teúl, home to a significant Mesoamerican archaeological site located on a hill near the town.
Following the archaeological site, a guided tour of Teúl will showcase key monuments including the Parish of San Juan Bautista and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Next, the tour includes a visit to the House Museum of General Jesús González Ortega and an optional stop at Mezcalería Don Aurelio for mezcal tasting. You'll then have an hour for lunch at the adjacent Los Jorges restaurant.
After lunch, we will return to your hotel in Zacatecas, arriving at 6 pm.
