The Essence of Jerez

Bodegas Álvaro Domecq, founded in 1850 by Pilar Aranda, is crucial for discovering Jerez wine. Acquired by a local rejoneador, the winery continues the artisan tradition. Since 1998, it produces sherry wines, brandies, and vinegars through a blend of elegance and tradition. The sherry wines are aged in American oak casks using the solera and criaderas system. The winery is part of Terraselecta, which emphasizes unique terroirs and native varieties. It is recognized in 35 different countries.
