The Essence of Jerez
Bodegas Álvaro Domecq, founded in 1850 by Pilar Aranda, the first woman winemaker in the Marco de Jerez region, has preserved the artisan essence of wine production. Since 1998, it has produced sherry wines, brandies, and vinegars using a blend of elegance and tradition. The meticulous production process involves aging sherry wines in American oak casks using the solera and criaderas system. The winery is part of Terraselecta, a company focused on unique terroirs and native varieties, with wines present in 35 countries.
