The journey begins at 11 am with a meeting at the Cartuja Hierro del Bocado Stud Farm, situated just 15 kilometers away from the heart of Jerez de la Frontera. This visit offers an opportunity to uncover the breeding process of Carthusian horses and understand the significance of this prestigious heritage.

Our exploration will commence with a guided stroll through the stud farm's facilities, including the stables and training grounds. As we walk, we will discuss the historical roots of the Carthusian horse, a lineage that traces back to the monks who established the Carthusian Monastery of Santa María de la Defensión in the 15th century.
