Description

We'll start our coffee adventure at the designated time in Jerico's main park. Here, we'll take a picturesque journey to a coffee farm by tuk-tuk.

Upon arrival, the host family will welcome us before heading to the main hall in the coffee farmhouse. After introductions, they will provide a pack that includes a bottle of water and an empty 70-gram container to fill with fresh coffee during the activity.

The tour will begin with an overview of the history of coffee globally, including its significance in Colombia and at this farm. We will learn about coffee cultivation, detailing the process from planting seeds to harvest.

After this presentation, there will be a break to cool down with a drink. We will then explore the steps from processing to packaging, understanding how coffee beans become a consumer product.

The final stage will feature a sensory experience: a specialized coffee tasting. A demonstration will showcase various preparation methods, including the French Press, Chemex Coffeemaker, V60, and Aeropress. Participants will gain expertise in Colombian coffee and receive a stamp and an instant photo to commemorate the experience.

Finally, we will return to Jerico's main park. Three and a half hours after starting the tour, we will conclude with a delicious brunch, marking the end of our journey into the world of coffee.
