1 or 2-Day Trip to Petra

If you're in Jerusalem and want to visit one of the most famous archaeological digs in the world, don't miss this 1 or 2-day trip to Petra. The Great Temple, the Columned Street, the Djin blocks, and other World Heritage structures await us.

1-Day Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll meet outside the David Citadel Hotel in Jerusalem. We will board a coach and travel between Israel and Jordan until we reach Petra, which will take around 5 hours. Once there, we'll take a guided tour around Petra, known as the Rose City and considered one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World. Accompanied by our guide, we'll walk through the Siq Gorge and see the excavated temples and tombs in the rock. After visiting the iconic sites such as the Petra Treasure, the Royal Tombs, and the Djin Blocks, we will conclude the tour with a typical meal. Afterwards, we will cross the border again and return to Jerusalem, arriving back at your hotel around midnight.

2-Day Tour

This 2-day tour offers a more relaxed experience. After visiting Petra on the first day, we will dine at a local restaurant and spend the night at a hotel in Wadi Musa. The next day, after breakfast, we will return to the archaeological site, where you can explore at your own pace without a guide. This time can be used to see monuments missed the previous day and learn about the customs and beliefs of the ancient Nabataean civilization, including the Petra Monastery, the Great Temple, and the Columned Street. We will return to the bus in the evening for the trip back to Jerusalem. Please be at the meeting point between midnight and 1 am.

Accommodation

The 2-day tour includes one night of accommodation with breakfast at either the 3-star Venus Hotel Petra or the 4-star Sella Hotel Petra, depending on your preference. The accommodation will consist of double rooms in Wadi Musa. If both hotels are booked, we will stay at similar hotels corresponding to your chosen category.
