Bethlehem and Jericho Day Trip

After picking you up from your chosen meeting point around 8:30 am, we'll start our journey to Jericho, considered the oldest city in the world. We will cross the Judean desert, passing by the Inn of the Good Samaritan and encountering the sycamore tree from which Zacchaeus witnessed Christ passing. As we explore the town walls, we will recall the time when Josué marched with his troops through Jericho.

From Jericho, we head to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. We'll visit Manger Square, home to the Basilica of the Nativity and the grotto described in the Bible as Jesus' birthplace. Before leaving Bethlehem, we will climb up to Shepherd's Field, the location from where the shepherds set off to honor the nativity of Jesus. Additionally, we will visit the church of Santa Catalina and its caves to see notable tombs and sanctuaries. We will also visit the Field of the Shepherds, from where the shepherds departed for Bethlehem.

After exploring Bethlehem and Jericho, we will return to Jerusalem, dropping you at your hotel around 6:30 pm.
