Embark on an exhilarating expedition through the Judean desert with our offroad tour, a unique opportunity to explore a region rich in captivating history and natural beauty!

Itinerary

We will convene at the designated hour at the bus stop adjacent to the Abraham Jerusalem Hostel, ready to initiate our desert adventure.

After a brief round of introductions, we will journey towards Mount Azazel, located between Jerusalem and the Dead Sea. Here, take a moment to appreciate the awe-inspiring cliffs that surround this majestic site. Our next destination will be the Great Laura of St. Sabbas, a Greek Orthodox monastery impressively carved into the mountainside, offering striking panoramas of the Cidron Valley.

Continuing our offroad exploration, we will visit Nabi Musa, a shrine believed to be the burial site of Moses according to Islamic beliefs. Our adventure includes stops at two breathtaking viewpoints: Mitzpe Yerichó, which provides a stunning view over Jericho, and the historic St. George's Monastery. This location will offer fantastic photo opportunities!

Concluding the tour, we will enter the Ein Prat Nature Reserve, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the clear waters of the Prat River, a delightful way to wrap up this thrilling journey!

Our offroad experience will conclude back at the Abraham Jerusalem Hostel, around four hours after we set off.
