Offroad Adventure in the Judean Desert

We will convene at the bus stop in front of the Abraham Jerusalem Hostel at the scheduled time and begin our journey into the heart of the Judean Desert.

Following a brief introduction, we'll travel to Mount Azazel, located between Jerusalem and the Dead Sea, where you'll be able to admire the magnificent cliffs. Next, we'll visit the Great Laura of St. Sabbas, a remarkable Greek Orthodox monastery hewn from the mountainside, which presents spectacular views of the Cidron Valley.

Our next destination will be Nabi Musa, the shrine believed to contain the tomb of Moses as per Muslim beliefs. The offroad tour will also feature two breathtaking observation points: Mitzpe Yerichó, providing a stunning overlook of Jericho, and St. George's Monastery. This area is ideal for capturing memorable photographs!

As a fitting finale, we'll explore the Ein Prat Nature Reserve, where you can enjoy a revitalizing swim in the refreshing waters of the Prat River, concluding this thrilling adventure on a high note!

Our offroad excursion will wrap up back at the starting point, the Abraham Jerusalem Hostel, approximately four hours after we set out.
