On this tour of the Mount of Olives we'll discover the history and facts about one of the symbolic places in Jerusalem.

Mount of Olives Walking Tour

At the appointed time we'll meet at the Jaffa Gate. From there we'll travel by bus to the Mount of Olives, a symbol of Jerusalem and one of the mystical places in the Holy Land.

First we'll stop at the foot of the Mount, where we'll visit the Jewish cemetery, considered to be one of the oldest cemeteries in the world.

After visiting the cemetery, we'll climb to the top of the Mount of Olives to enjoy panoramic views of Jerusalem and learn about the significance of this place for Christians. We'll continue our tour by visiting the Chapel of the Ascension and the Church of Dominus Flevit.

The next stop will be the garden of Gethsemane, where, according to the New Testament, Jesus prayed before being arrested. We will then go to the tomb of the Virgin Mary, another significant site at the foot of the Mount of Olives.

Finally, after a three-hour tour, we will conclude our exploration at the Lions' Gate.
