On this tour of the Mount of Olives we'll discover the history and fascinating facts about one of the most symbolic places in Jerusalem.

Mount of Olives Walking Tour

At the appointed time we'll meet at the Jaffa Gate. From there we'll travel by bus to the Mount of Olives, a symbol of Jerusalem and one of the most mystical places in the Holy Land.

We will first stop at the foot of the Mount to visit the Jewish cemetery, recognized as one of the oldest cemeteries in the world. Following this, we will ascend to the top of the Mount of Olives to enjoy the panoramic views of Jerusalem and learn about its significance for Christians. The tour will then continue to the area around the Mount, visiting the Chapel of the Ascension and the Church of Dominus Flevit.

The next stop will be the garden of Gethsemane, known as the place where Jesus prayed before being arrested by Roman authorities. Afterward, we will proceed to the tomb of the Virgin Mary, another significant site at the foot of the Mount of Olives.

Finally, after a three-hour tour, we will conclude our tour of the Mount of Olives at the Lions' Gate.
