Upon booking, participants can select from two distinct experiences. Both options commence at 9 am and feature an English-speaking guide, cocoa tasting, and a hands-on chocolate-making workshop:

Cocoa Experience Tour (2 hours)

Beginning at Calle Vieja, you will embark on a guided exploration of cocoa harvesting, witnessing the pods where the cocoa beans develop while learning about the care involved in producing this local favorite.

Participants will have the opportunity to observe the fermentation and drying stages of cocoa processing. Naturally, the experience wouldn't be complete without sampling a selection of chocolate creations crafted at the farm. To cap off this delightful visit, you will partake in a workshop to create your own 70% cocoa chocolates, making for an unforgettable memory!

Cocoa Experience + Las Golondrinas Waterfall (7 hours)

Selecting this option allows you to enjoy the same activities as the previous tour, followed by two hours of leisure to savor lunch or unwind. Afterwards, we will set off on a 20-minute hike through the lush tropical rainforest, leading to the stunning Las Golondrinas waterfall.

During your hike, you'll encounter a suspension bridge 36 feet high (11 meters) - it's advisable not to glance down! Ultimately, you'll reach the iconic waterfall, towering at 82 feet (25 meters), where you'll have an opportunity to swim and dive from the rocks into the refreshing waters. This marks a perfect, well-earned pause after your hiking adventure!
