Options

When making a reservation, you'll have the choice between two distinct options. Both experiences commence at 9 am and feature an English-speaking guide, a chocolate tasting session, and a workshop dedicated to chocolate:

Chocolate Tour (2 hours)

Beginning at Calle Vieja, we’ll embark on a guided exploration of the cocoa harvest, where you'll witness the cocoa pods and learn about the nurturing of this delicacy from Costa Rica.

You will also observe the process of fermentation and drying. Naturally, no visit is complete without sampling some chocolate products created on-site. To top off your experience, you'll take part in a workshop where you will create chocolates containing 70% cocoa—a memorable experience!

Chocolate Tour + Las Golondrinas Waterfall (7 hours)

This option begins with the same itinerary as the two-hour tour, followed by a couple of hours for lunch and relaxation. Next, we’ll set off on a 20-minute trek through the heart of lush tropical rainforests to reach the stunning Las Golondrinas waterfall.

As we traverse the trail, you’ll encounter a bridge soaring 36 feet above ground (11 meters)—make sure not to look down! Finally, we'll arrive at the renowned waterfall that cascades down 82 feet (25 meters), where you can take a dip or leap from the rocks into the refreshing water. A well-deserved pause following the hike!
