Fall in love with India's deepest shade of blue on this guided tour of Jodhpur! You'll weave through the streets of the second-largest city in Rajasthan state and visit its top attractions.

Description

Meet us at Ghanta Ghar to kick off our guided tour of Jodhpur. We will explore the storied past of Maharaja Sir Sardar Singh, who commissioned the watchtower built 200 years ago, now known as the Rajasthan Tower, marking the beginning of Old Jodhpur. The watchtower offers the best panoramic views of the city.

Next, we will visit Toorji Ka Jhalra stepwell, constructed in the 1740s by Maharaja Abhaya Singh. Recently uncovered, it displays beautiful hand carvings in pink-red sandstone from Jodhpur, including depictions of dancing elephants and niches housing ancestral deities.

Following the stepwell, we will wander through the Blue City, along the narrow streets and explore the Navchowkiya market. This area is known for its vibrant blue houses and provides an opportunity to find beautiful souvenirs.

As we conclude the tour at Pachetia Hill, we will enjoy a panoramic view of the city, particularly striking during sunrise and sunset. We will also visit the Kunj Bihari Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna, to discuss its significance and curiosities. After 3 hours, we will end our guided tour of Jodhpur near our starting point.
