Night in the Thar Desert

On this tour you'll spend a night in the Thar desert. We'll enjoy sunset and sunrise over the sand dunes, ride camels, and visit the Osian temples.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your selected point in Jodhpur and drive to Osian, an oasis in the Thar Desert.

This town has numerous Hindu temples dating back to the 8th century. On the tour, we'll visit the Sachiya Mata Temple, a walled Jain monument with notable sculptures on the roof, and statues honoring Goddess Durga.

We'll proceed to the Thar desert village where we'll spend the night. After settling in the huts, we'll embark on a camel ride to watch the sunset across the dunes.

After the ride, we'll return to the camp for dinner under the stars before settling in for the night.

At dawn, we'll wake up for sunrise over the Thar desert, an experience to cherish. We'll have breakfast together and then head back to Jodhpur, concluding the tour around midday.
