Thar Desert Private Camel Ride

Ride through the Thar Desert on a camel on this private activity from Jodhpur, including a visit to the Sachiya Mata Temple.

Options

You can choose between two options. Both include hotel pickup, or pickup from the airport, train, or bus station in Jodhpur, an English-speaking guide, and a Marwari-style lunch.

Camel Ride (6 Hours)

After pickup, we will visit the Sachiya Mata Temple in Osian, a 9th-century Jaini building. You will have time to explore the temple, dedicated to the mother goddess Sachiya. Following this, enjoy a Marwari-style meal at a local restaurant before heading to the Thar Desert for a two-hour camel ride through the dunes.

Camel Ride + Visit to a Bishnoi Village (10 Hours)

After pickup, we will visit a Bishnoi village to learn about the community's culture and observe local wildlife, including black bucks, chinkara, blue bulls, desert foxes, hares, and partridges. The itinerary will continue with a visit to the Sachiya Mata Temple, a Marwari-style lunch, and a camel ride in the Thar Desert.
