Krüger House + Ango Kersten Farm Tour

Come in contact with rural life in the region of Joinville on this tour to Krüger House and the Ango Kersten farm. You'll visit a building that holds an unquantifiable historical weight and also go on a tractor ride around the farm.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Joinville and make our way north to the Krüger House. The minibus journey will take around 20 minutes.

Upon arrival, we will learn about the history of Wally Krüger's House, built in 1925. This example of German-Brazilian architecture is a National Historic Site located where sugarcane and corn were previously harvested.

Before leaving the Krüger House, we will view photographs, outfits, and utensils from the era, gaining insight into German immigration in Santa Catarina during the last century.

The next stop will be the Ango Kersten farm, where we will learn about rural life near Joinville. This includes a tractor ride among the farm's vegetable and fruit crops and an opportunity to see geese and other animals.

Afterwards, we will visit a colonial-style restaurant for a buffet of local delicacies. Following 4 hours of activities, the tour will conclude with a return to your hotel.
