Lampa Private Excursion

One of the most beautiful villages in the southern Peruvian Andes awaits us on this private excursion to Lampa. We'll explore its old town, dating back to the 16th century, and learn about its history.

Lampa Private Excursion

At the selected time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Juliaca and head northwest to Lampa. After about an hour's drive, we'll spend an hour and a half exploring the historic center of Lampa. We will stroll through its streets admiring the color of its facades. This town is known as the 'Pink City' for its unique appearance.

Next to Grau Square and the Plaza de Armas, we will visit the church of Santiago Apostle, built entirely of stone in the 17th century. Inside, we will see paintings from the Cusco School of Fine Arts, a replica of Michelangelo's Pieta, and an organ from Belgium, brought in 1620.

Lastly, after a three and a half hour tour, we will conclude the excursion by dropping you off at your hotel in Juliaca.

End the excursion in Puno

If you prefer, we can finish the tour in Puno instead of returning to Juliaca. We will drop you off at any central location or hotel of your choice.
