Lampa Private Excursion

One of the most beautiful villages in the southern Peruvian Andes awaits us on this private excursion to Lampa. We'll explore its old town, dating back to the 16th century, and learn about its history.

Lampa Private Excursion

At the selected time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Juliaca and head northwest to Lampa. After about an hour's drive, we'll spend an hour and a half exploring the historic center of Lampa. We'll stroll through its narrow streets admiring the color of its facades. This town is known as the 'Pink City'.

Next to Grau Square and the Plaza de Armas, we'll come across the church of Santiago Apostle, a colonial-era building built entirely of stone in the 17th century. Inside the church, we'll find paintings of the Cusco School of Fine Arts, a replica of Michelangelo's Pieta, and an organ that was brought from Belgium in 1620.

Lastly, we'll return to the vehicle, and after a three and a half hour tour, we'll finish the excursion by dropping you off at your hotel in Juliaca.

End the excursion in Puno

Would you like to end the tour in Puno? If preferred, we can finish the tour in Puno instead of returning to Juliaca. We'll drop you off at any central location or hotel you choose.
