Have you heard of the artificial archipelago of Lake Titicaca? Join us on this excursion to the Uros Islands from Juliaca. And if you want, you can spend the night in this special place.

Uros Islands Tour

At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up from your hotel or the airport in Juliaca and travel by minibus to Puno, where we'll board a speedboat across Lake Titicaca to visit the floating village of the Uros.

During approximately two hours, we'll explore and disembark on two of the Uros islands. We will explain the construction of these islands using totora reeds, an aquatic plant found in Lake Titicaca.

We'll learn about the traditions and beliefs of the Uros as we observe their daily activities, including fishing. We will share insights about their ancient cultural heritage.

After six and a half hours, we will return you to your hotel.

Uros Islands 2 Day Tour

For a more immersive experience, consider the 2-day tour from Juliaca, which includes a night's accommodation in a traditional hut on one of the islands.

On the first day, you will tour the Uros islands, learn local fishing techniques, and have lunch and a two-course dinner with a soft drink. You can enjoy a magical sunset over Lake Titicaca.

On the second day, after breakfast with tea or coffee and fruit, we will return you to Juliaca, dropping you off at your hotel at 1:30 pm.

Tour ending in Puno

If you prefer, the tour can conclude in Puno instead of returning to Juliaca. We will drop you off at any central location or hotel of your choice.
