Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park Tour

At 8:15 am, we will collect you from your hotel in Hilo and embark on an exploration of the Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park.

Venturing into this expansive region, we’ll observe Hawaii's most magnificent volcanoes, among them Halema'uma'u, which continues to expand. Our journey will then take us to the Kilauea Visitor Centre, where you will gain insights into the island's most active volcano. Following this, we will witness the geysers and make our way to the Kilauea Iki Viewpoint.

Next, we will embark on a scenic tour of the Crater Caldera, where patches of the area are blanketed with lava from the 2018 eruption of Kilauea. Our upcoming stop at the Kealakomo Viewpoint offers stunning vistas of the coastline and lava landscapes.

Continuing along a paved pathway, we will explore additional impacts of Kilauea’s various eruptions, culminating in our visit to Rainbow Falls and Akaka Falls. Nestled within a lush rainforest, we will take a moment to enjoy a picnic lunch amidst these enchanting waterfalls.

To conclude our adventure, we will visit the town of Hilo to explore the unique black sand of Richardson Beach and relish the beauty of Lilioukalani Gardens.

As the day draws to a close, we will return you to your hotel, with an expected drop-off around 7 pm.
