Wire Pass Route

This route is the easiest and fastest way to discover Buckskin Gulch. By taking the Wire Pass route, you'll cross the narrow slot of this canyon and admire the colors on the canyon walls as light shines through from above.

Upon reaching the confluence of Wire Pass and Buckskin Gulch, there will be a break for a snack, after which you'll continue walking through the canyon and cross different rocky areas. The hiking duration is four to five hours, with a total tour duration of 7 hours.

Buckskin Gulch Route

This option is ideal for those who want to explore the highlights of Buckskin Gulch. The tour includes visits to the wavy rocks, sand domes, the area near North Coyote Buttes, and different petroglyphs. The total duration for this option is 7 hours.
