Peek A Boo Canyon Tour

We'll meet at the Kane County Information Center at the scheduled time and proceed approximately 16 kilometers (10 miles) north of Kanab.

Here we will encounter one of the area's notable natural monuments, the Red Canyon, commonly known as Peek A Boo. The canyon's maze-like landscape features impressive gorges and deep passages.

Upon arrival, we'll embark on a hike through winding trails. Access to the canyon involves a sandy track and a brief segment through rolling dune fields. Once inside the rock walls, you will be surrounded by the reddish sandstone landscapes of the gorge, which reaches heights of 30 meters (100 feet) in certain areas.

We will make the most of the sunlight hitting the canyon at optimal angles for photography. Although Peek A Boo may not be as renowned as other canyons in Utah or Arizona, it is equally breathtaking. Due to its lesser-known status, we will enjoy a serene experience without large crowds.

At the conclusion of the tour, we will return to Kanab and drop you off at the meeting point around 12:30 pm.
