Enjoy some of Sri Lanka's most breath-taking scenery with this private day trip to the Horton Plains National Park. Along the way, you will encounter extensive tea plantations, waterfalls, and much more.
Activity Details
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kandy at 7 am. From there, we will make a road trip by private vehicle into the country's interior.
About three and a half hours later, we will arrive at the Horton Plains National Park. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the green landscapes surrounding you.
We will take a gentle hike through this area, looking for local wildlife, including the colorful Wali Kukula bird and possibly leopards.
After the hike, the guide will assist you in choosing a restaurant for lunch (not included) before we proceed with the tour.
After lunch, we will head to Nuwara Eliya, known as the tea industry capital of Sri Lanka, to learn about the tea production process.
Finally, we'll return to Kandy, arriving between 7 pm and 9 pm, depending on traffic.
