See one of Sri Lanka's most special archaeological sites with this private trip from Kandy. You will visit the archaeological site of Sigiriya and the Dambulla Cave Temple.
Day Trip Details
At 7 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Kandy to begin our journey to the archaeological site of Sigiriya. The journey will take approximately two and a half hours.
Upon arrival, we will explore the ruins of this ancient 5th-century palace, including the famous Lion's Rock and its history.
After the visit, you will have free time to taste local cuisine in one of the area's traditional restaurants (not included).
Next, we will head to Dambulla to visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, known as the Golden Temple. This complex is the largest and best-preserved religious site in Sri Lanka.
We will return to your hotel in Kandy, arriving at around 4 pm.
