See one of Sri Lanka's most special archaeological sites with this private trip from Kandy. You will visit the archaeological site of Sigiriya and the Dambulla Cave Temple.
Day Trip Details
At 7 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Kandy to begin the journey to the archaeological site of Sigiriya, which takes around two and a half hours.
Upon arrival, you will explore the ruins of this ancient 5th-century palace, including the famous Lion's Rock, and learn about its history.
After this visit, you will have free time to taste local cuisine in one of the area's traditional restaurants (not included).
Next, we will head to Dambulla to visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple. This is the largest and best-preserved religious complex in Sri Lanka.
Finally, we will return you to your hotel in Kandy, arriving at around 4 pm.
