See one of Sri Lanka's most special archaeological sites with this private trip from Kandy. You will visit the archaeological site of Sigiriya and the Dambulla Cave Temple.
Day Trip Details
First thing in the morning, at 7 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Kandy and set off for the archaeological site of Sigiriya. The journey will take around two and a half hours.
Once there, we will explore the ruins of this ancient 5th-century palace. We will encounter the Lion's Rock and learn about how it earned its name.
After this visit, you will have free time to taste local cuisine in one of the area's traditional restaurants (not included).
Then we will head to Dambulla to visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple. This is the largest and best-preserved religious complex in Sri Lanka.
Finally, we will take you back to your hotel in Kandy, arriving at around 4 pm.
