Day 1: Kandy - Dambulla- Sigiriya

At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Kandy to begin this 2-day adventure visiting important historical sites in the country.

First, we'll visit Sri Muthumari Amman, the highest Hindu temple in Sri Lanka. Next, we head to Dambulla to explore the famous Cave Temple, which features 153 Buddha statues and murals.

Lastly, we visit Sigiriya, an archaeological site with the ruins of an ancient palace complex from Kasyapa's reign. Prepare to navigate the lion's claws to reach the top of this rock.

Day 2: Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa - Kandy

After pickup at your hotel in Sigiriya, we proceed to Polonnaruwa, the former capital for over 200 years. We will explore the ruins of this ancient city and visit the Archaeological Museum, Royal Palace, audience hall, and sacred quadrangle.

We will return you to your hotel in Kandy, arriving around 6 pm.
