Kaohsiung Guided Tour

The tiger and dragon pagodas, Confucius's Temple, and Lotus Lake are some of the sites included in this guided tour of Kaohsiung.

Description

We will meet at the New Zuoying MRT Station at the scheduled time and start heading to Lotus Lake. This large body of water is surrounded by various pagodas, markets, and historical buildings. During summer, the lake's surface is covered by Lotus Flowers.

Next, we will visit Confucius's Temple, dedicated to the famous Chinese philosopher. You will have the opportunity to explore the building and write a prayer inside.

We will then walk around the lake to the dragon and tiger pagodas. The significant structures in front of these pagodas will be explored, revealing their secrets and legends. We will climb to the highest part of one of them for views of the city.

Finally, we will visit the oldest part of Kaohsiung to see the ruins of the old walls, concluding the tour after 2 hours.
