Day Excursion to Waimea Canyon & K?ke?e State Park

At the arranged time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Kauai and proceed to the Hanapepe Valley Lookout, where you will be treated to a breathtaking view of the expansive Hanapepe Valley. A brief stop will allow for photo opportunities.

Next, our journey takes us to Kauai Coffee, the largest coffee farm in Hawaii, where you can partake in a brief tasting session. Afterward, we will continue to the picturesque Hanapepe Swinging Bridge, an iconic wooden pedestrian bridge perfect for exploration and photography.

We will then make our way to the renowned Waimea Canyon, often referred to as the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific.” Throughout this segment, we will halt at various lookout points to marvel at the breathtaking gorges, vibrant cliffs, and cascading waterfalls. Following this, we will ascend to Koke?e State Park to embark on a brief hiking path, enveloped by native Hawaiian vegetation and the melodious calls of birds such as the ?apapane.

A break for lunch will occur at the restaurant within the Koke?e Lodge Museum, where you can choose from chicken, ribs, or a salad, accompanied by a refreshing drink. Next, we will pause at the Pu?uhinahina Lookout to savor one final panoramic view of Waimea Canyon.

Our journey will take us past the historic town of Waimea, the former residence of King Kaumuali?i. We will make a quick visit to the Russian Fort Elizabeth and the statue of King Kaumuali?i, offering further insight into the island's regal heritage. Lastly, we will explore the stunning Spouting Horn, a natural wonder where ocean waves crash through a lava tube, creating an impressive water spout.

Following this enriching experience, we will return you to your hotel after a full day of exploration stretching over 10 hours.
