Demre + Kekova Day Trip

Join us to explore the southern coast of Turkey on this day trip to Kekova and Demre.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Teke Harita Kadastro Mühendislik Bürosu in Ka?. We will travel by minibus to the Demre Harbour, where we will board a boat to start our trip along Turkey's southern coast.

On our traditional Turkish boat, we'll sail towards Kekova Island on Mediterranean waters. During the journey, stories and legends of the area, including the one about the old Dolchiste, will be shared. Our first stop will be near the sunken city of Simena, allowing an hour of free time to explore its ruins.

Afterward, we will continue sailing around the coast of Kekova to see the Pirate's caves and head to Burc Bay, where we will anchor for a swim and onboard lunch.

Next, we will head to Demre for more free time to visit San Nicolás Church, where Father Christmas is buried, and explore the Myra ruins, which include a well-preserved amphitheatre and tombs built into the rock.

The tour will conclude with our return to Ka? after approximately 10 hours.
