Chandragiri Cable Car

On this excursion from Kathmandu, we'll climb aboard the Chandragiri Hills cable car to enjoy views of the Himalayas and see 5 of the 14 highest peaks in the world.

Chandragiri Cable Car

We will pick you up from your hotel in Kathmandu at the scheduled time. After boarding a vehicle, we will drive for about half an hour through the southwestern side of the Thamel district to reach the base of the Chandragiri Hills.

At the station, we will board the cable car and ascend to an altitude of 8,366 feet (2,551 meters). During the ride, we will enjoy views of the surrounding hills and Mount Everest.

The cable car windows provide an opportunity to admire the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas, and on clear days, you can see 5 of the 14 highest peaks on the planet.

Once we reach the top, you will have an hour and a half of free time for lunch and to visit a Hindu temple, significant for its sacredness, where pilgrims visit daily.

After approximately four hours enjoying the views, we will conclude the experience with a return to your hotel in Kathmandu.
