Chandragiri Cable Car

On this excursion from Kathmandu, we'll climb aboard the Chandragiri Hills cable car to enjoy views of the Himalayas, including 5 of the 14 highest peaks in the world.

Chandragiri Cable Car

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kathmandu at the scheduled time and depart for the Chandragiri Hills cable car for panoramic views of the area.

After introductions, we'll board a vehicle and drive for half an hour through the southwestern side of the Thamel district to reach the cable car station, where we’ll ascend to a height of 8,366 feet (2,551 meters).

During the ride, we’ll view the surrounding hills and Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world. The cable car windows allow for unobstructed views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks. On clear days, you can see 5 of the 14 highest peaks.

At the summit, you will have an hour and a half for lunch and to visit a Hindu temple. Chandragiri is not only known for its views but also for its spiritual significance, attracting many Hindu pilgrims.

After four hours of exploration and views of the Himalayas, we will conclude the experience by returning to your hotel in Kathmandu.
