Dakshinkali Trip
At your chosen time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Kathmandu and drive for one hour to Dakshinkali, a village south of the capital.
The tour begins with a stroll around the town, where you can enjoy views of renowned Himalayan peaks like Manaslu and Dorje Lhakpa. On a clear day, the silhouette of Everest may also be visible.
Next, we will visit the Dakshinkali Temple, a sacred shrine for Kali: the four-armed goddess. At the shrine's entrance, you will witness worshippers sacrificing animals such as roosters, ducks, goats, and buffaloes.
You will also learn about Hindu customs and traditions associated with the worship of Kali, including the use of various bells and colorful ceremonial necklaces.
After four hours, we will return you to your hotel in Kathmandu.
