Everest Base Camp: 9 Day Trek

Day 1: Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding

The adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Kathmandu and a 30-minute flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Himalayas. Upon arrival in Lukla, we'll gather our equipment and begin the trek to Phakding, our first night destination.

Day 2: Phakding - Namche Bazaar

After breakfast, we trek from Phakding following the Dudh Koshi River, with views of Thamserku Mountain at 6608 meters. We will enter Sagarmatha National Park and reach Namche Bazaar, known as the commercial centre of the Khumbu region.

Day 3: Namche Bazaar - Pangboche

We leave Namche Bazaar and ascend to an altitude of 3990 meters. The trek includes a visit to Tengboche and its Monastery. We will cross the suspension bridge to reach Pangboche, where we will spend the night.

Day 4: Pangboche - Tukla

After breakfast, we will start the trek, passing through the valley of the Khumbu Khola River to reach Tukla, where we will spend the night.

Day 5: Tukla - Everest Base Camp - Gorak Shep

Day five poses challenges, with scenic views of Pumori, Lhotse, and Mount Everest. We will ascend to the Khumbu Glacier, pay respects at a memorial, and then reach Everest Base Camp. After celebrations, we return to Gorak Shep for the night.

Day 6: Gorak Shep - Kala Patthar - Pheriche

Before sunrise, we trek to Kala Patthar viewpoint for spectacular views, then return for breakfast before descending to Pheriche.

Day 7: Pheriche - Namche Bazaar

We descend to Tengboche for a break before continuing to Namche Bazaar.

Day 8: Namche Bazaar - Lukla

We trek back to Lukla, passing through remote villages. Upon arrival, we enjoy a typical Nepali dinner.

Day 9: Lukla - Kathmandu

On the final day, we take a flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, where we will drop you off at your hotel.

Meals & Accommodation

This nine-day trek includes eight nights' accommodation in lodges or tea houses, and meals are full board.
