Everest Base Camp: 9 Day Trek

Day 1: Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding

We will pick you up from your hotel in Kathmandu for a 30-minute flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Himalayas. After gathering equipment, we will begin our trek to Phakding, our first night's stop.

Day 2: Phakding - Namche Bazaar

After breakfast, we will trek from Phakding along the Dudh Koshi River through pine forests. We will enter Sagarmatha National Park and finish the day at Namche Bazaar.

Day 3: Namche Bazaar - Pangboche

We will climb to an altitude of 3990 metres on our way to Pangboche, visiting the Tengboche Monastery along the route.

Day 4: Pangboche - Tukla

Today, we will trek past small Sherpa villages and reach Tukla.

Day 5: Tukla - Everest Base Camp - Gorak Shep

This challenging day involves ascending to the Khumbu Glacier moraine and reaching Everest Base Camp. We will then return to Gorak Shep for the night.

Day 6: Gorak Shep - Kala Patthar - Pheriche

Before sunrise, we will hike to the Kala Patthar viewpoint for stunning views, followed by breakfast and descent to Pheriche.

Day 7: Pheriche - Namche Bazaar

We will descend to Tengboche and then continue to Namche Bazaar.

Day 8: Namche Bazaar - Lukla

After breakfast, we will trek back to Lukla and enjoy a typical Nepalese dinner.

Day 9: Lukla - Kathmandu

On the final day, we will transfer to Lukla airport for your flight to Kathmandu.

Meals & Accommodation

This trek includes eight nights' accommodation in mountain lodges or tea houses, with meals provided on a full board basis.
