Explore Kathmandu on a Guided Tour

This thoughtfully curated guided excursion through Kathmandu allows you to experience the most significant sites of Nepal’s vibrant capital. Prepare to explore the Monkey Temple, Durbar Square, and various other notable landmarks!

At the scheduled time, you will be collected from your accommodation to initiate this exploration of Kathmandu. Are you ready to uncover the marvels of the Nepalese capital?

Our first stop will be the bustling Ason Market, where shops operated by the Newari community, alongside ancient temples and shrines, immerse you in a rich cultural tapestry reminiscent of a bygone era.

Next, we will proceed to Durbar Square, home to a collection of temples, where you will get the chance to witness the Kumari, revered as the living goddesses of Nepal. These young girls are believed to embody the goddess Taleju until they come of age.

Our journey continues with a visit to the Nine Floors Palace, after which we will cross a suspension bridge spanning the Bishnumati River.

We will then ascend towards Swyambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, where hundreds of monkeys reside. From this hilltop sanctuary, you will be treated to stunning vistas of the Himalayas as well as the Kathmandu Valley.

Following our exploration of the temple, we will descend along a trail leading to a revered site where cremation rituals take place by the riverbank.

We will conclude our day with farewells at a designated central location.
