Guided Tour of Kathmandu

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel to start this guided tour of Kathmandu. Ready to discover the wonders of the capital of Nepal?

First, we'll visit the Ason Market, where we'll see stores run by the Newari community, temples, and shrines.

Then we'll go to Durbar Square, where we'll see more temples and observe the Kumari, the living goddesses of Nepal, considered reincarnations of the goddess Taleju until adolescence.

The tour will stop at the Nine Floors Palace and then cross the suspension bridge over the Bishnumati River.

Next, we'll walk uphill to the Swyambhunath or Monkey Temple, where hundreds of these primates live. From the sanctuary, we'll enjoy views of the Himalayas and the Kathmandu Valley.

After the temple visit, we'll descend to the sacred place for cremation rituals on the riverbanks.

Finally, we'll conclude the tour at a central location.
