Kathmandu Spiritual Tour Itinerary
On the day of your tour, you'll meet your guide at 3 pm at the Hotel Marshyangdi in Kathmandu. You will take a public bus to Boudhanath Stupa, the largest stupa in Nepal, where you'll engage with pilgrims turning prayer wheels and have the opportunity to light a butter lamp to enhance Buddhist meditation techniques and converse with monks.
Next, you'll board a public bus towards Pashupatinath, a significant Hindu temple. Your guide will explain the Hindu perspective on the cycle of birth and death while you explore the pagoda-style temple complex and learn about the Sadhus, holy individuals who have renounced worldly life.
As the sun sets, you will take a stroll to the Bagmati River for a chance to witness a cremation ceremony, a traditional Hindu ritual.
After the spiritual experiences, you'll have time to dine at a local restaurant (not included) before visiting one of Nepal's popular astrologists.
Your tour will conclude around 8 pm.
