Embrace your spiritual side on this guided tour of Hindu and Buddhist Kathmandu. Explore the Nepali capital's temples and discover its mystical culture and traditions.

Kathmandu Spiritual Tour Itinerary

On the day of your tour, you'll meet your guide at 3 pm at the Hotel Marshyangdi in Kathmandu. You'll board a public bus and head to Boudhanath Stupa, the largest in Nepal, where you'll join the pilgrims in turning the prayer wheels and have the chance to light a butter lamp to enhance meditation techniques, along with interacting with monks at the temple complex.

Next, you'll take a public bus to Pashupatinath, one of the world’s most significant Hindu temples. Your guide will present insights on Hindu beliefs regarding the cycle of birth and death while you explore the sacred temple complex and learn about the Sadhus, holy individuals who have renounced worldly life.

As sunset approaches, enjoy a stroll to the banks of the Bagmati River, where you can witness a cremation ceremony, a traditional Hindu ritual.

Following this spiritual experience, you'll have the opportunity to dine at a local restaurant (meal not included). After your meal, you'll visit one of Nepal's popular astrologists.

Your tour will conclude around 8 pm.
