Patan Private Tour
After picking you up from your hotel in Kathmandu at the selected time, we'll leave the Nepalese capital behind, setting off on our short 30-minute drive to Patan.
Arriving in our destination, also known as Lalitpur, or "City of Beauty", we'll embark on our guided walking tour of its historic centre. One of the oldest Buddhist cities in the world awaits us, ready to reveal its charms, secrets and legends.
We'll spend two and a half hours exploring Patan and admiring its most emblematic monuments, including the famous Durbar, or Royal Palace Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site home to around twenty different historic buildings used by the Malla kings when Patan was an independent city-state.
Buddhist and Hindu temples; water conduits, spouts and tanks; intricately carved gates and sculptures are present. We'll make a stop in front of the Golden Gate, the entrance to the Royal Palace, as well as visiting the sculpture of Yogendra Malla.
The excursion will come to an end with drop off at your hotel back in Kathmandu after three and a half hours of discovering the rich culture of Patan.
