Nepal Hiking Day Trip

When booking, you can select from three different options for your hike. All include pickup and drop off at your hotel in Kathmandu, 4x4 vehicle transportation, and an English-speaking guide. The details of each itinerary are as follows:

Trekking in Tare Bhir

At 8 am, we will head to the Kathmandu Valley, specifically to the village of Budanilkantha. From there, we will start a 10 km (6.2 mi) hike in the Tare Bhir area, known for its unique vegetation and diverse birdlife. The route includes several scenic lookout areas with panoramic views of Kathmandu and the valley. We’ll return to Budanilkantha by 1 pm.

Trekking in Budanilkantha

Pickup will be at 8 am, and we will travel to Budanilkantha. This hike will take us through the Kathmandu Valley to the Jamchen Vijaya Stupa, a prominent Buddhist temple on Budanilkantha Hill. We’ll also visit the Krishna Mandir temple and traditional villages, enjoying the natural landscapes along the way. The trek will last approximately five hours before returning to the starting point.

Trekking in Shivapuri Nagarjun

We will pick you up at your hotel and head to Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park. During the hike, we will point out the three main Himalayan peaks visible in the distance: Annapurna, Manaslu, and Ganesh. This tour will allow us to experience the park's waterfalls and forests, with opportunities to observe Nepalese wildlife, including monkeys, deer, and native birds. The tour will conclude back at your hotel in Kathmandu.
