Nepal Hiking Day Trip

When booking, you can choose from three different options for your hike, all including pickup and drop off at your hotel in Kathmandu, transportation in a 4x4 vehicle, and an English-speaking guide. Details for each itinerary are as follows:

Trekking in Tare Bhir

Starting at 8 am, we will travel to the Kathmandu Valley, specifically to the village of Budanilkantha. A 10 km (6.2 mi) hike will follow, exploring Tare Bhir and its unique vegetation and diverse birdlife. The route includes scenic lookout areas offering panoramic views of Kathmandu and the valley. We will return to Budanilkantha and your hotel by 1 pm.

Trekking in Budanilkantha

After 8 am pickup from your hotel, we will head to Budanilkantha, the starting point of this trail. The walk will lead us to the Jamchen Vijaya Stupa, a Buddhist temple atop Budanilkantha Hill. The trek includes visits to Krishna Mandir temple, traditional villages, and stunning natural landscapes, concluding after about five hours.

Trekking in Shivapuri Nagarjun

After hotel pickup, we will proceed to Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park. The hike includes views of the three main Himalayan peaks: Annapurna, Manaslu, and Ganesh. Participants will also see waterfalls and diverse wildlife, including monkeys, deer, and native birds. The tour ends back at your hotel in Kathmandu.
