The beautiful capital of Nepal awaits on this private tour of Kathmandu. After hotel pickup at the selected time, we'll drive to the city center to begin exploring.

We'll embark on a guided walking tour of Kathmandu, focusing on Durbar Square, home to numerous buildings and monuments. Admire Hanuman Dhoka, the former residence of the Nepalese monarchy until 1886, while your guide discusses significant events in Nepal's history and the influence of Hinduism and Buddhism.

Next, we'll travel through Freak Street before reaching Kumari House. Here, we'll learn about the Living Goddess or Kumari, a revered young girl. The selection process for the next Kumari will also be explained.

We will then proceed to Swayambhunath, a religious complex with panoramic views of Kathmandu from its hilltop location. The temple, over 2500 years old, features stunning golden colors and the iconic image of the Buddha's eyes on all sides.
