We'll embark on a guided walking tour of Durbar Square, or "Royal Palace Square", home to numerous buildings and monuments. Admire the Hanuman Dhoka, a palace complex where the former Nepalese monarchy resided until 1886. Your guide will share insights on significant events in Nepal's history, along with the influence of Hinduism and Buddhism on daily life.

Next, we'll cross Freak Street before reaching Kumari House, where you'll learn about the Living Goddess or Kumari, a young girl venerated as a deity and how she is chosen.

The tour will continue to Swayambhunath, a religious complex with panoramic views of Kathmandu. This temple, over 2500 years old, features golden colors and the imposing image of Buddha's eyes on all sides.
