Auschwitz-Birkenau Tour

At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Katowice. The drive to Auschwitz-Birkenau takes around 1 hour. The site includes various camps. We begin by visiting Auschwitz I, initially built to house political prisoners and later various targeted groups. At the entrance, we will see the inscription reading "Arbeit macht frei." The tour includes viewing the small cells where prisoners lived and work areas.

We will then proceed to Auschwitz II-Birkenau, the extermination camp. Here, we will see the remains of the crematoriums and gas chambers, which were demolished by the German troops to hide evidence.

The tour concludes back in Katowice at 3 pm.
