The first stop is the historic Market Square, established in the 19th century and intersected by the Katowice tramway. Here, admire the elegant Silesian Theatre, a stunning example of neoclassical architecture crafted by architect Carl Moritz.

As we continue, we will delve into the cultural heart of the city. This area is home to iconic landmarks such as the Spodek multi-purpose arena and the International Congress Centre. We will also visit the impressive Art Nouveau structure housing the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, along with the Silesian Museum, uniquely situated in a repurposed mine.

The journey will then take us to the historic district of Nikiszowiec. This area, characterized by its rows of red brick homes, was once inhabited by laborers from the mine and metallurgy sectors. Its significance in the 20th century has earned it the designation of official Historic Monument in Poland.
