On this rafting tour on the Arachthos River, we'll raft down one of the most beautiful riverbeds in Greece, through waterfalls and gorges.
Arachthos River Rafting Tour.
We will meet at 10:30 am outside Ippostrouth restaurant, located 30 kilometers (19 miles) southeast of Ioannina. From there, we will proceed to Tzoumerka to start our rafting experience on the Arachthos River.
The tour begins at the Politsa Bridge, where we will navigate the Arachthos river and pass by remarkable sites like the Klifkis waterfalls, where we will stop for a swim.
As we paddle through the gorge of the Arachthos River, we will see the Plaka Bridge, the largest single-arch bridge in Greece.
The rafting tour will last approximately four hours, concluding around 2:30 pm.
