On the day of the excursion, your journey begins at Amla Bay Beach, conveniently located near Amlsanden Fjordcamping. Are you prepared for an extraordinary fjord kayaking experience? Let’s get started!

Your adventure kicks off at the beautiful Amla Bay, characterized by its clear waters and tranquil surroundings. From this idyllic launch point, we will set out onto the impressive Sognefjord, renowned as one of Norway's most breathtaking fjords. As we gently paddle alongside the coast of Storehaugen, the stunning backdrop of steep cliffs and vibrant vegetation will enhance your journey, creating unforgettable memories.

After about an hour of paddling, we’ll pause at the cliffs to stretch our legs and absorb the magnificent scenery. Here, you'll be treated to refreshing drinks and tasty snacks while enjoying sweeping views of Bleia, an iconic mountain in Western Norway that rises to 1717 metres (5633 ft.). Keep a lookout, as you may catch glimpses of seals and porpoises swimming nearby.

Once we've soaked in the breathtaking panoramas, we will begin our return journey to Amla. This leg of the trip provides a fresh viewpoint of the charming village, showcasing its warm locals and quaint homes.

After a fulfilling 2.5 hours, we’ll return, having embraced the beauty of Amla Bay and Sognefjord, from peaceful waters and scenic cliffs to the remarkable landscapes and diverse wildlife.
