On this tour to Myra and the sunken city of Kekova, we will explore significant sites on the Turquoise Coast. The tour includes a visit to the tomb of St. Nicholas, the inspiration for Santa Claus.

At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Kemer. The journey begins as we drive through the Taurus Mountains towards the Turkish Riviera.

Upon arrival, we will board a boat to the sunken city of Kekova, where an ancient Lycian city lies submerged due to an earthquake. We will observe archaeological remains, including the funerary monuments of Simena.

Next, we will head to Myra, another ancient Lycian city famous for its stone-carved tombs. The visit includes the necropolis, the Roman theater, and the amphitheater. We will then proceed to the church of St. Nicholas in the nearby village of Demre, the burial site of St. Nicholas, who inspired the figure of Santa Claus.

After sightseeing, we will enjoy a varied buffet lunch at a local restaurant in Demre. Finally, we will take a bus back to Kemer, with an expected drop-off at your hotel around 5 pm.
