Dhow Cruise in the Musandam Fjords
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Lulu Hypermarket Khasab. From the pier, we'll start this dhow cruise through the Musandam Fjords. For 3.5 hours, we'll sail on a traditional Arabian boat, called a dhow, through the landscapes of the Musandam region. We'll see the region's islands and riverside villages such as Nadifi, Qanaha, and Maqla.
We'll also pass by Telegraph Island, whose real name is Al Maqlab, and stop for a 45-minute swim in its waters. The name "Telegraph" originated because the British set up a relay station there to send messages by subway cable.
Afterwards, we'll continue cruising through the Musandam Fjords, where we will attempt to spot dolphins jumping alongside the boat. Finally, we'll return to the pier to conclude the activity.
