Hell's Kitchen Day Trip
After meeting in Watamu Bay at the indicated time, we will travel to one of the most special places in Kenya, its unique Grand Canyon.
Located near the coastal town of Malindi, Hell's Kitchen Gorge offers an opportunity to explore the eroded landscape of Eastern Kenya. Once there, we will enjoy the canyon and discover the peculiar rock formations shaped by wind erosion, such as the Map of Africa and the Rhinoceros Head.
The site derives its name from the high temperatures in the area, where it can reach up to 50° Celsius (120° Fahrenheit) during the day. We will share legends about Hell's Kitchen as we admire its reddish color. Imagine witnessing a sunrise or sunset here!
We will return to Watamu, arriving back 5 hours later.
