Carrauntoohil Mountain Trekking
The tour meets at 9:30 am at Cronin's Yard, just outside Killarney, from where we will start our day hike up the highest peak in Ireland, Carrauntoohil Mountain.
Explore the trails winding up the mountain on this 12 km excursion. Over 1,000 metres up atop Carrauntoohil, you will experience the views of County Kerry.
There will be stops throughout the route for rest and to enjoy both the ascent and the descent. A guide will accompany you at all times.
After ascending via the famous Devil’s Staircase, we will return to the starting point, concluding the day at approximately 6 pm.
