Carrauntoohil Mountain Trekking
The tour meets at 9:30 am at Cronin's Yard, just outside Killarney, to start the hike up Carrauntoohil Mountain, the highest peak in Ireland.
You'll explore trails winding up the mountain during this 12 km excursion, with numerous stops for rest and enjoyment of the ascent and descent. At over 1,000 meters, you'll experience the views of County Kerry.
A guide will accompany you throughout the trek, assisting in making the walk manageable. After the ascent via the Devil’s Staircase, the tour concludes back at the starting point at approximately 6 pm.
