Owia Salt Pond Tour

At 9 am, we will meet at the Kingstown cruise terminal and board a bus to the northern tip of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, specifically to Owia. We will travel approximately two hours along the entire east coast, accompanied by a guide. Our first stop will be in the agricultural village of Arnos Vale, followed by a visit to Young Island, where cast members of The Pirates of the Caribbean were housed during filming.

Next, we will pass through Calliaqua to visit its market and continue north to Byera, where the Black Point tunnel is located. We will explore this tunnel, historically used for unloading sugar cane. As we walk through Black Point, we will uncover some hidden secrets related to the film. We will also travel through Georgetown and stop at the Rabacca Dry River for photos, and Sandy Bay, an indigenous community.

Afterwards, we will head to Owia, home to the indigenous population. Here, we will explore Owia Salt Pond, featuring natural pools on volcanic rocks filled with coral formations and reef fish, for about an hour. We will conclude the tour and return to the starting point by 3 pm.
