Get ready for an epic adventure on Table Mountain, the iconic symbol of Cape Town! Our hiking route will take us through the renowned Skeleton Gorge, one of the most famous spots on the mountain. Get your hiking gear on and let's go explore!

Description

We'll meet up at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens at the designated time to kick off this amazing hike through the breathtaking Table Mountain National Park.

First, we'll explore the beautiful Kirstenbosch Garden and its collection of unique fynbos plants native to South Africa. This serves as a warm-up before heading to the trail.

We will then follow a path through waterfalls and trees to reach the gorge, where our adventure begins. The route through Skeleton Gorge covers approximately 6.5 kilometers (4 miles). While this is an easy-level hike, there will be short steeper sections and rocky stream beds to navigate. We will also share the intriguing story behind the gorge's name along the way.

As we trek, expect stunning waterfalls and lush landscapes. The highlight is reaching the plateau and descending a staircase to beautiful sandy beaches.

After an epic three-hour journey, we'll loop back to our starting point, concluding this memorable excursion.
