Surrounded by mountains and tea plantations, Ella is a town that you can't miss on your trip to Sri Lanka. Explore this remarkable place on a private tour of Ella, accompanied by a guide for you and your companions.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Ella. We will travel in a private vehicle and begin a sightseeing tour to visit the main monuments and surrounding areas.

We will first visit Ella Forest Reserve for a walk through the lush greenery inhabited by exotic birds. Along the trail, we will see the iconic Nine Arch Bridge, a monumental colonial structure known as the 'Bridge in the Sky' and an engineering achievement from the early 20th century.

Next, we will head to Demodara Loop, recognized as one of the best places to visit in Ella. This railway features a remarkable spiral loop section. We will stop at the Demodara Railway Loop lookout point to admire the loop and the scenic views.

Following this, we will dine at a local restaurant, enjoying several Sri Lankan dishes.

With renewed energy, we will proceed to Newburgh Tea Factory and Demodara Tea Estate to learn about the history of tea in Sri Lanka and the region's famous tea production.

After this final stop, we will return you to your accommodation, concluding the experience approximately 7 hours after we began.
