Activity Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Ella and take you on a trip to Yala National Park. On this 1-day safari, we will see leopards and elephants to sloths in their natural habitat.

After a 2.5-hour drive, we will arrive at Yala National Park, known as one of the best places in Sri Lanka for game viewing.

Upon arrival, we will purchase tickets and start an offroading vehicle tour through Yala National Park. Before the safari, we will have a breakfast break.

Now it's time for the safari. This is the most famous wildlife park in Sri Lanka. Throughout the excursion, we will witness the greatest biodiversity in the country, making stops to see the wildlife up close.

We will continue exploring this natural area, home to elephants, leopards, bears, deer, crocodiles, and wild boars. This area spans 97,800 hectares (241,000 acres) and is the second-largest national park in Sri Lanka. It also has the largest concentration of leopards in the world.

We will conclude this safari in Yala National Park and return to your hotel in Ella, arriving 11 hours later.
